In a shameful example of moral and religious policing, one Momirul Ali (Papu) on Facebook who identifies himself as an ex-student of Cotton ‘College’ has resorted to abusive words on ‘Hindu girls and boys’ that would put anyone to shame. The Guwahati wing of Bajrang Dal has registered an FIR with the Pan Bazar police station against the person.
Ali has put up posts in his Facebook account talking about the ‘cruelty’ of Hindu parents and the ‘shamelessness’ of Hindu youths in Assam. Suspicions have also been aroused about his association with ‘anti-India forces’.

In his FB account, Ali has also identified himself as a former student of Delhi Public School, New Delhi. He also claims to be a resident of Gauhati. However, his Facebook account is now found to be deactivated.
Meanwhile, Deepjyoti Sarma, organizer of Bajrang Dal, Guwahati wing said, “The abuse of Ali against Hindus is totally unprecedented and we cannot let such people vilify our society. He cannot abuse Hindu people in such a manner. Strict action should be taken against him and hence, I have registered this FIR.”
