Liked-minded group from Nagaland-Assam Border Area donates to Assam’s flood victims.

In a goodwill mission a delegation of like-minded group living in the Nagaland-Assam Border Area visited the Assam floods victims at Kaziranga National Park, Assam and handed over cash and kind collected during a charity drive on Sunday.

An update from the delegation stated that the group was received by members of the Kohora Baptist Church at Assam.

The team visited the Kaziranga Relief Camp at Kohora village near Kaziranga National Park Assam where 100 plus has been camping there after torrential downpour amounted to breach of river embankments and trigger flood in the area.

The delegation informed that the donation from well-wishers was collected during cultural exchange programme coinciding with Tsüngremmung festival of the Ao Nagas at Saring Village on August 03.

Cash and relief materials were distributed to the flood-affected families, the update stated.
They and acknowledged Ministers Temjen Imna Along Longkumer and Advisor Dr Longrineken hefty contribution; Saring village council and all the well-wishers who donated cash and kinds wholeheartedly the during the Charity Drive for victims of Assam flood.
The delegation was led by Tali Imchen and Bitul Kormi.
